Saw a water main pipe pen a while back and after coming across some water pipe (not as thick or large a diameter as the water main pipe) decided to try it. Put it on a black chrome slimline. Was actually so soft to turn that you had to be careful not to wrinkle it.Ifd you press with very much pressure it would chatter and leave a wrinkle in the surface. Also had to be careful with the sanding. Anything below about 400 grit left large scratches that were hard to get out.
