Unfortunately Paul, the Photograph, doesn't show your Pen to it's best advantage.
The Shadow from the overhead light has thrown a shadow down the sides of the pen, where it is difficult to see the true outline of the pen.
I don't know if you had trouble shaping the dial as it looks like it has been flattened on the lower section. But that may be lighting as well.
What I can see I like and looks like there is a lot going for it. But I can't be sure as I can't see it clearly.
Please consider taking some new photographs.

I see what you mean about the lighting. I am not much of a photographer I will attempt to get some better one to post
