Wall Street ll question

I was going to put this in "show off your pens", but it didn't come out right. I made a Wall Street 2 with a celtic knot this morning. I got a little agressive with the gouge and had to fill in a area which covered up some of the knot. I placed the clip over this.. My question is: When I have the pen assemblied without the blank (just trans and nib) it works. When I put the blank on everything unscrews.. I will post pictures when get home from work.

Check the lower end of the barrel (blank) and make sure there is no glue/debris on the inside of the tube. Had this happen more than once and the culprit is usually some glue in the end of the tube.
