Visiting the Lone Star State

Sitting in DFW airport on my way to Corpus Christi. Unfortunately there will be no time for visiting friends this trip. I have a 6 AM flight back tomorrow so I can get home and help out the wife cooking for turkey day. At least I'll be able to enjoy some warm weather for a couple days been awfully cold and wet at home lately.

You sorry jerk! I had 2 extra hours to spare during my recent trip in your neck of the woods and made it a point to drive 1.5 of those hours over to see you for 30 minutes and you can not even skip Turkey Day to come visit me? What a friend you are! At least wave from the plane as you fly over my house will ya?

Just kidding, of course! Too bad you don't have more time like we discussed. Oh well, hopefully there will be more trips this way when you can take a little more time. Enjoy the 80 degree weather!

LOL, Curtis for the sake of marital harmony I'll be home to help the boss with the 25 or so people who will be at the house for turkey day. If I stopped to visit I'd have to stay, at least until I got a place only own.

The wind was not too bad, on approach The plane bounced a bit but not half as bad a landing in DFW this morning. Did not need a straw to stir the coffee on that flight.
