Virage in double dyed box elder

The blanks for these two Virage ball point pens were made from stabilized and double dyed box elder. After stabilizing they were cast with Alumalite to fill gaps. Only sapwood was used and bark, (most notable in the first three pictures) was not removed before stabilizing. I rather like how they came out and would be interested in any feedback (positive or negative) members would care to give
