I am shopping for vintage Bakelite suitable for pen making. I have sufficient stock of the patina yellow/cream blanks Roy was selling in 2011. Otherwise I am interested in whatever may turn up. High on my list would be blanks or rods that are either mostly dark brown with swirl, and also blanks primarily cream/white with burnt orange or brown swirl. Please contact me by PM, and thanks!

I have stock of Bakelite square blanks (7/8" square x 5.75" long). I trust that you have good carbide tools to handle the turning. This stuff is extremely hard but polishes beautifully. Can take some pictures and post for you.

These blanks are 3/4" square and 8.25" long. I did not have to paint the brass pen tubes. Best way to describe the colour is CREAMY CARAMEL.
