Hopefully someone can help me.
I just bought a Delta Midi lathe and seem to have a problem.

the lathe seems to have a vibration when it is running.
it is enough of a vibration that things keep vibrating off my workbench.
has anyone else experienced this?
anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

thank you

Is this doing this with no load?
Vibration usually means bearing problem.
Something is out of balance, it could be motor bearings
Could be spindle bearings.
Any kind of noise?
Undo the drive belt and see if there is still a vibration. If so that would indicate a motor bearing problem.

I suggest moving the belt to one end and making sure the set screw holding the pulley is tight on the shaft. Mine loosened and caused various issues. Also, is the vibration appearing with out anything connected to the headstock? If it runs smooth that way then it might be an attachment/chuck causing the imbalance.
