Very sad news today

The Patriarch of the family whose fish camp I use as a base of operations when I go north passed last night. Jerry was in his late 70's early 80's and had suffered a stroke(He was born before Eskimos started traking Bdays) but he always had a warm welcome and was full of hunt advice for me and my 5 year old son. He made us every bit a part of his family without saying a word, by just accepting the weird white boy who wanted to take home Caribou parts ya cant even eat!!!

Farewell Jerry Jerome Aalaak Sovalik, you will be missed!!!
