So I bought 5 of these Vertex pens from PSI. Not a bad pen IMO. The issue I have with one of them is that it won't seat properly on either end. It seems that the insert in the cap is too far "up" the cap so the pen point won't slide all the way in. I tried the other caps on this particular pen and they all fit correctly. I hope PSI will help me out with my concern, however, does anyone have any ideas? I tried using a disassembly rod and tapped it, but I certainly don't want to break the cap.

A small screwdriver to unscrew the white insert a little can help:wink:

I'm assuming that the Vertex is a snap cap.....apologies if it isn't

If it is the Vertex with the metal cap, then you have the same problem I had/have. I have several of them from my last order that did not go down far enough. I found a nut driver screwdriver that fit perfectly and tapped the magnet in further or farther? Just be careful and don't go whacking the heck out of it. The magnet is brittle and will break.
