Vertex Bolt Action

So, normally when I make a watch part pen, including the traditional rifle bolt action, I put the clip 180 deg opposite the watch face. What about on a Vertex Bolt Action? The clip does come down over any part of the blank. Where do I want the bolt action with respect to the face?

I would hold the top part above the blank and rotate it until I see something that I like. I'd guess maybe the watch between the clip and the bolt.
