I am very proud of my wife Tracy. I have been ridding snowmobiles and dirt bikes for over 35 years. I regularly run the sled up "hills" that would give a Dall sheep a nose bleed but this is Tracy's secound year and she is just now starting to ride alone. She scared herself to the point of tears within 10 minutes of unloading.....did she quit? Hell no in fact she was on her feet trying to throw the sled around a bit by the end of the day!
I got one TOUGH and beautiful wife! And I couldn't be more proud of her!

That is beautiful country that you are riding in. My first sled was a Polaris TX250 but did most of my riding on a Polaris trail Boss 500 fan cooled. Great machine. Haven't been out in years but loved every minute of it. Yes scared myself silly more than a few times. Once hit a drift I didn't see at a high rate of speed, didn't go high but went far. Had to wait about 30 min. to get off the sled because of the "pucker factor"

You do not know how jealous I am. I did not have mountains to ride in but northern Wisconsin trail riding on my 87 Phazer at my friends old shack. Boy do I miss those days of riding with my friends.:frown:

Boxerman yes we run ski doo's the one in the pic is a 09 Tundra, Amazing machine! The areas I ride are considered "mountain sled country".......never underestimate a crazy old man on a mean looking utility sled! I hope to get a Summit next year and hand down the Tundra to my wife.
Displaced Canadian.......got that feeling when I crested and was starring into the bottom of that hole! My first sled was a mid 80's tundra, also a 250 but you'd be amazed what the little sleds can manage......
Ruby.... I know exactly what you mean! Michigan's UP has the same sort of trails, shacks and good times with friends! Not to much different here in Alaska to be honest with you, 99% of the guys up this way are on there way to camp. You'd be surprised how few ice shanties there are but otherwise right at home on your Phazer. It's the young and dumb who venture into the steep and deep! I am almost always the oldest in the valley by about 15 years.
