All of my recent pens have included something won from the various IAP competitions/drawings. These have given me a nice escape from the chaos going on right now. This evening at the lathe I was thinking about all the things I have to be thankful for, although things are a bit crazy now there is still so much for me to be thankful. In the weeks an months ahead I hope I can keep a positive attitude and contribute to the common good where I can. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my recent creations (with lots of help from fellow IAP members).
Jr. Emperor in amboyna, the kit was part of my 2020 Bash Puzzles prize winning from @PenHog. It's definitely the classiest kit I have used this far in my pen turning hobby.
Jr. Gent II in pheasant feathers. Blanks were part of my 2020 Bash drawing win from @JohnU This is also my first ever fountain pen. Also from the same prize winnings came the viper skin Sierra, the web Sierra, the cigar, and the circuit board rollerball. All awesome casts by @JohnU !!!
