He has asked me to see if I can find a used midi lathe and some good chisels.
Atlanta, GA area but Chattanooga to Macon might work.

Too bad you are so far away. I have a Jet 1236 new in the box I'm trying to sell. Really no way to get it there and still make a buck. Good luck. Have you tried Craigslist? I see lathes on there occasionally.
