Update on Mum Gum;; Lael is doing better. Blood pressure has been stable for 15 hours now. 9 more hours and she can be discharged from the hospital, keeping our fingers crossed. Speech Therapy and fine motor control therapy will be needed on an out-patient basis. I will be attending a seminar/class on helping family members recover from a stroke. She understands what has happened, and just really wants to get out of the hospital. She has a beautiful view of trees and mountains from her room and she stares out the window a lot. She helped me pick out a couple of doctors for her to see so we can keep the blood pressure and cholesterol under control. Once she is home we will arrange to meet with the doctors and decide which one is the best fit.
We thank everyone for the prayers, positive thoughts, good energy on our behalf. We are truly blessed with such a huge online family. Hugs and prayers to you all. (yes some of you may have seen this on Facebook to tired to create new wording for the same thing.
