Update on my foot.

Well my doctor gave me the boot today, a walking boot in place of the splint. It sure feels good to have it off. I cant put weight on that as I can tolerate which wont bd much for a while more. I go back in a month and if all goes well I should be out of the boot and maybe back to work. I'm not going to wait a bit on getting on the lathe as I still need some pain medication and it just wouldn't be safe. I making progress thanks to God and all prayers.

Thanks so much John. It's so nice to have the boot now and I've taken a few steps this last night and this morning it wasn't easy but it a good start on my recovery.

I had surgery on my right ankle bone this past May to drill an area of dead bone out. I went through the cast to boot thing too. I feel for you to say the least. I will keep you in my prayers!
