Went back to the Orthopedic Doctor this afternoon. They took xrays again but nothing showed up. Ie still not able to put much weight on it and can only walk a few steps with out my boot on and just a few more with the boot. I have to get a bone scan done Friday and then see another orthopedic doctor. The doctor I saw today wants be to walk as much as I can with out the use of crutches which is not all that much and keep going to physical therapy. I sure hope I better soon because this is getting old. Thanks for listening and for your prayer.

Sorry that is still bothering you Dan. It will get better in due time though. Keep your chin up and maybe you can learn to turn on one leg? Just kidding of course.
 
Thanks Mike and Randy. I have learn to turn sitting down but I'm it sure if I have the sitting down yet. Maybe I need to go a local watering hole and practice sitting on a tall stool. Or maybe I should look in to the shop stool Wildcat has on sale I'll have to think of which would be best. :wink:
 
Hairline fracture? My mother had that once, took her to the doc and they didn't see anything, my brother got her to another doc and they managed to find it on their xray.
Hope they can resolve the problem for you and get you to healing.
 
With time........you will be fine Dan. Just do what the doctor says. That is what we pay them for.
Sitting and turning isn't that big a thing.
Better then not turning at all.

I have osteo myelitis of an ankle that has a 12" rod and a metal bracket to stabilize its movement. Each step I take, every day is painful, BUT the shop equipment is at a level where a stool can be used. I have tried to not use those electric carts in stores because of the stigma attached. I use a knee walker to keep the foot off the ground and to keep up with Mary in IKEA and other box stores.
My reason for this message is: what ever they propose and can do, please follow through. keep the bone alive where the surgeries take place. My gosh my prayers and wishes are for you.

Thanks for the encouraging words and prayers. I'm still waiting on my short term insurance claim to be approved, they are taking their time. The person I talked with this morning said that the claims department is behind.....as if that ok. I wonder if I told then I was behind on bill and they would have to wait on my payment if I would still have coverage I'm sure I would not.
