There is some new news on him.
First, do to legal issues or advice the family is not posting much and when they do they are not mentioning any names, so this message sort of sounds like code, but I am sure you can see what is happening.
Please keep him and the family in your prayers.

Just an update. Guy had a bad day yesterday. After Dialysis he became very mixed up and was slurring his words. I tried calling and texting all day but he never got back to me. I finally called nurses station and they told me what was happening. I told her I was very upset as he was there for rehab and he has gotten covid and had other issues not related to rehab since he has been there. I told her I was going to talk to his attorney about what has been happening. Twenty minutes later the doctor at rehab called said GUY was still not alert so was sending to hospital emergency room and wanted to have them run a scan to check his brain. That was around 9:30pm. I called the hospital at 11:00pm to check on him and that doctor said they was sending him back to hospital for bleeding on the brain. I drove up to the hospital and beat the ambulance there. He got there at midnight. They let me sit in the waiting room and finally about 3:00am doctor came out said GUY was not following commands and said he was trying to talk but couldn't understand what he was saying. Told me I would have to go as he couldn't let me back to see him. I called the hospital at 8:30am this morning and he is still waiting in the emergency room . Will stay there until neurologist sees him and reviews test results. Nurse said GUY had his eyes open and following commands but not talking.

Thanks, Bob.

Sorry to hear that Ernie is in such a state as indicated by the reporting.

Hoping for a significant uptick for Ernie .... VERY SOON !!

Not to play doctor and not to alarm anyone, but part of the description reminded me of my wife's stroke... she was sitting in a wheel chair having breakfast and started to talk to me... what came out of her was not conversation, but just gibberish... sounds that made no sense whatsoever.... she had just come home from a nursing center where she was treated for a septic infection... there was another lady in the center that rolled around in a wheel chair and tried to talk to people, but just made gibberish sounds.... I immediately rushed my wife back to the hospital and she WAS treated for a stroke. Only effect seems to be in her speech center.... she's fully coherent now, but does struggle with some words. I hope the neurosurgeon looks into the possibility of a stroke.
And I hope I'm not being an alarmist.
