Unknown Wood new finish NH

I made this today with a piece of unknown wood. It had kind of a mustard smell to it when I was drilling it. Any ideas? I used BLO and DoctorsWoodShop Walnut, Carnuba wax and Shellac to finish it. I used 6 or so coats. Then I polished it with DoctorsWoodShop Walnut wax.

Nice looking pen. Looks like bocote.

Yup. Looks an awful lot like bocote or zebrawood.

Thanks for the input on the wood.
It is nice to be back in the saddle again with the Doctorswoodshop product. I thought I had a head cold for the last 6 months but it turned out to be a CA allergy. This new stuff keeps me in business so I can keep creating. I will perfect its use over the next few pens and keep busy. I have a nice Cocobolo blank drying downstairs and will turn that one out tomorrow.
