My dentist doesn't have a problem with letting me have sheets of the pink waxy stuff they use.
BUT
i've been making a number of Jr. Gent and Sierra pens lately. When you unplug those tubes there are lots of little pink disks.

They are big enough that you can now use them to close the end of 7mm tubes.

Another form of recycle. I've been trying other things to plug my tubes and to me the dental wax still works the best.

I stopped using the wax on the 7mm pens. The wax for me was making the trannys slip a little. Unless you want to clean them out with acetone before you finish them. Thats just another step I dont like to do. But the wax was nice to use.
Plumbers puddy or play-doh works but comes out sometimes when I am working the tube in & out.
