Maybe the second one will be the last. As I reported a week or so ago, I underwent cancer surgery on my neck on the 20th of April. That was on a Monday.

The next week, had the drain tubes and staples removed, one of which was not draining anyway. That was on Tuesday, well a couple days later, Thursday, things took a turn for the worse. The scar area and my entire neck became enflamed, red, swollen and painful. Called the Doc who requested I see him immediately which entailed a trip to Carson City. He admitted me to the hospital on the spot with intravenous antibiotics. On Friday after checking on me, he decided there was not much improvement and decided to cut me open again. Saturday he opened my neck, drained and cleaned out he bad stuff and left it open with a wick drain, which is still in. He check me Sunday, found me in good health and released me Sunday evening. Today my follow-up visit was very good, will remove the drain Friday. Now for the remainder, he said I was cleared up to start radiation in three weeks, am scheduled for my first appointment on the 12th for a fitting so they can tie me down so I can't move during the treatment. Can hardly wait, want this to be over. I will however go back to work Monday. That is the best news, I want to be back to work.

Your prayers have worked and I thank you all, the worst is yet to come but My faith and your prayers will get me through. God Bless

Thoughts a prayers for full a speedy recovery. Sounds like you have good Doc. It is always nice to get back to work and a routine. Any snow on you side of the Sierra's not much on this side, brown lawns this summer.
