Twisted pentagon olive root wood

This was a fun project, it's a PSI gun metal graduate fountain pen. The olive root wood blank was a joy to turn, it had a "peppery" smell, and has a five sided 1/4 twist. I used Glu Boost for the finish, a couple of coats of thin and a couple of thick. It was the first time using Glu Boost, I found it easy to apply, sand, and polish. I like their bottles, easy to use.

It's very comfortable, the five sides line up with your fingers, feels very natural.

Thank you. The majority of the sanding is after the Glu Boost is applied, I start with 220 up to 3000 and then use a cloth wheel with the white buffing compound.
