Twins for office mates.

Made these two to give to my office mates. The one on the right I had a small tear out on the top. What happened is, I was getting pretty close to final size, so I applied some thin CA. A little to close to the bushing and when I went to switch to finishing bushing, a little piece of wood ripped off. I shortened the blank by about 1/32 and was able to trim back the transmission mechanism that same amount. Pen will use a standard refill and it works perfectly. If I hadn't shortened it, the refill stuck out slightly when retracted. Pens are GT Knurl's, black and chrome plating. Woods are maple, chechen, cocobolo and black vaneer for spacing.

It was an easy fix. Nice to know, this kit is a little forgiving. I really didn't want to throw one of these blanks away. There's a lot of work in one of these blanks.
