turning question

Has anyone ever tryed turning a pen out of granet and if so how did it turn out and did it take any type of spiceal tools to do it? And thanks for the info and help in advace

Granite is very hard. I don't think you could doit on a wood lathe. To cut it in the museum we use diamond blades.

There is a granite mixture to mix in resin, but it only looks like it, not the real thing.

ya i know i have to cut it up with a dimond blade but i didnt know if i could turn it on the lathe or not i have a bunch of scrap i would like to turn into pens if i can but if not oh well i can figer something else to do with it
