I do not have a lot of experience turning acrylics and have a question, I recently pick up a kit that requires the full length of a blank it has a hole drilled in one end only no tube or bushings are required. The directions state to turn between centers my questions is how can I accomplish that with out the blank slipping or cracking because of too much pressure? Any advise would be of great help. Thanks in advance!

I turn between centers all the time, without bushings. It works fine as long as you just snug it up, don't crank it in. Start too loose, and work your way to "just right" slowly, tightening just a little each time. Easy pressure on the blank because of the no tube part.
What is this kit called?

I am sorry it is not a pen kit it is a peeler my wife picked it up at Wood Craft I didn't know where else to ask the question sorry if I caused any confussion or
problem.
