I picked this CZ 455FS .22LR up yesterday, it's not the most figured Turkish Walnut that I have ever seen but it sure is a far cry better than what most manufacturers are putting on their rifles today.

I think that has more figure than my 1963 Remington 580 .22!! The safety isn't doing what's supposed to, so while it's in the shop the stock is going to be refinished. Easy, fun and great memories for me!

Great looking gun Dick, thanks for sharing. I like how the stock runs the full length on it, not fond of it on most guns though. Hows finding ammo for it your area? Pretty limited here.

I think ammo is pretty tight everywhere but I have been able to get enough for my needs.
Since you like this one here are my other CZs.

Those are sweet. I used to work part time at a gun shop here, sold a few CZ's. I'm a ruger man myself, but i like them all. One day i would like to get a Stoger coach gun, 20 ga.
Both of these looks to have some nice wood. I might have to post a few of mine.

Very nice! In the 6 years I worked for CZ-USA I have seen some beautiful wood. They take more pride in selecting blanks than American gun companies do now. Of course, they are closer to the source!

In my opinion CZ quality is second to none.
This is my other CZ but it doesn't have any wood.
