Tumbleweed Slimline pen

I turned this pen from tumbleweed that the neighborhood kids stashed in my driveway. i think a lightbulb went off in my head, "make a pen out of that", so i did. this is the end result. i did have to stabilize it with thin ca. drilled well, turned well and finished with ca well

Hey, Seamus, cool pen! I'm really suprised at the beauty. Not only have you made a beautiful pen, you've used a very difficult material. I've rangled my own tumbleweeds. Not easy "getting to the heart" of one.
