I have been toying around with the idea of getting into the whole Powder coating system to color the various size tubes. If there were bulk tubes of every size for every pen - I would for sure go with the powder coat system and simply spend a week making a bunch of pre-colored tubes ready to go and anytime.

I have several questions / points of interest to make in regards to my thinking - perhaps someone / everyone can shed there wisdom and past history with me in order to make up my mind.
To make it easy to follow I will make bullet statements to respond to.

Is the $100 - $200 investment worth while (this is more for the ones that have been using PC for a while?

If I were to get into a PC system I would think doing long bulk tube would be the best options.
With that being said can you get the odd size tubes in full lengths?
Majestic, and JR - Statesmen and Jr, Imperial, Lotus, Emperor & Jr,
Etc.....or are these only available in the pre cut "extra tubes"

Has anyone tried simply using a bank of colored fat tip sharpies?
I did this today with some Blue Opal and Sapphire Lucite and they
Turned out really well

Using the Perm Markers I did not have the Dry time like I do with
Testers type paint. When I start on several pen kits I like to get
Them done, Doing everything start to finish rather than cutting blanks
One day - gluing tubes another day - turning the next day....etc of
course this is the best way to go about things is you are working a
semi productive pen shop.

Has anyone every used the paint pens - they dry quickly....How do they react to CA and or 5 min epoxy?

Last but not least - Please add any suggestions

As usually thanks for your time and energy reading and offering suggestions to my weird questions.:hypnotized: It is much appreciated
