Hi all,

Years ago I borrowed a book from the local library that had ideas on how to live well on not a lot of income.

It told for example about visiting house movers and house mover salvage yards for good deals on common household items. One of the more memorable things that they bought and referbished was a Steinway grand piano which had been in a house where the piano had been water damaged by a leaky roof.

Another idea in the book was a cabin retreat of sorts that had a deck on the outside that one could park a motorhome next to the deck and then use the cooking and sanitation facilities of the motorhome and the extra living space of the simple cabin that was attatched to the deck also.

I think the title had something to do with "poor man..." or "poor man's..."

There was also a story in the book of how they had been evicted by the landlord of a property they had been living in and so for "revenge" he replumbed the place so the toilet flush with hot water instead of cold.[}:)]

Anyone remember this book?[?]
