Hi folks,

First post!!!!

Fred here :) First, I would like to thank everyone for some fabulous pen ideas and info. I now have a bunch of "what if I do this" pens turned and have given away most of them. All got praise :)

I drive otr at the moment so don't get to enjoy my lathe all that often. However, do to govt I may be looking into a new field or journey and that's sort of how I got into this pen thing. Also jewelery (wood from pen scraps works great).

Thanks again,

Fred Acker

Welcome Fred. I left trucking, as much as I could anyway, a few years ago. Sometimes when my head hurts, I still miss being out there.

Howdy from a new guy in Texas. OTR is not an easy way to make a living these days. Lot's of folks out there looking for another way to survive. At least making pens can be fun.

Greetings, Fred, and Welcome to the Forum from another Fred (there are other Fred's than me and you here as well). Get's kinda confusing when all us Fred's are in one place ...
