I'm not a smoker but I love the cigar bands. I think they cool and make nice pens. The kit is a Triton with Black Titanium and Platinum Platings. This is the first time using this plating. Not to get too far off track but every year for Christmas and Birthdays everyone says I'm hard to buy for. So I make a list of the vendors with item numbers and prices and this becomes their shopping list. Anyway this kit, along with a few others, came from Exotic Blanks. I've read up on the band and it's a $50 cigar that didn't get very good reviews. It's one that I have seen many of so I was glad to get it. More details on the pen. Triton Kit with real cigar tobacco leaf and a real OpusX cigar band cast it resin. Thanks for looking and Questions and Comments always Welcome.

Peter I buy the cheapest cigar I can get and unwrap the outer layer or wrapper. I wrap that around the brass tube then the band on top of that. I use the molds from Maneater Craft and cast in a clear resin. When the resin cures I turn.

Very nice work. I have a few of those Triton kits somewhere in my stash that I bought many years ago. Never got to use them but seeing them again I may find them and use a couple. Thanks for showing.
