I'm looking for a source of triple start thread components that can be inserted into bespoke pens. When making sections and caps ACME threads would be nice to have available.

I couldn't agree more. But I'm interested in acme threads. An intersting concept but I dont know of any one who does that. But in my opinion a set of taps and dies in the correct dimensions is a lot better option. A set of taps and dies for a one off outlay money wise with care will last you a life time.
So why would you want to be buying inserts.
Thanks curly.Acme taps and dies can be had but are hard to find. The taps aren't really suited to pen work because they are quite long, 5" or more. Acme threads are usually done on metal lathes with single point tools. Someone with one and the skills to make them might be able to help you out. Perhaps check with Rick Herrell https://www.penturners.org/forums/ricks-custom-tools.349/ to see if he would make you what you want.
