If you're like me, you probably hate doing your annual inventory. I had been using Excel but I found an app recently that I love and just wanted to share it here.

It's called StockControl. I'll say up front I have no association with this or the makers. You can enter 15 items for free to see if you like it. If you do, it's $10 for the full version.

The app lets you enter product names, quantities, prices, and the supplier of the item. It also has barcode support and you can associate a picture with each item. There are also reports you can run including creating a printable PDF or export the file as csv.

One of the things I like best is you can track item groups, so instead of looking through a loooooong. List of pen kits to update or see what you in stock, you can break them out by groups like ballpoints, fountain pens, or even by plating type- it's up to you. Hopefully some of you will find it as helpful as I have. I use it on my iPhone, I'm not sure if there is an Android version.

John- Small world :)

Bill- It took me a little playing around with it before I had it figured out but once I did, entering info was fairly easy.

I down loaded it also, playing around
can not figure out how to delete
an item.....hmmm
looks like the ticket to me though
