Tortuosa Willow Burl stabilised pen blanks for sale...!

Hi peoples,

Some may be familiar with the #33 of my timber list, the Corkscrew-Tortuosa Willow Burl wood that I have been selling in raw condition. The soft to very soft nature of this wood, has created some problems to those that couldn't stabilise, or could use CA due to allergy reaction or other so, I decided to start my new stabilisation system using Cactus Juice, with this soft but extremely beautiful burl...!

I never seen a wood drink so much solution but the results are very good, to say the least.


Please remember, these blanks are in Australia...!


Freight cost to USA and Canada (please, request quote for any other countries).
All prices are quoted on the Regular Air-mail option, by Australia Post however, A.P. has now introduced a new option with tracking only, called "Pack & Track", for AU$6.00 more, than any of the Regular Air-mail prices (any weight). This option offers some safety for parcels that may go missing...! Please advise if you would like to use this safer option...!

Note: An USA Customs sub-charge of $9.00 will apply, with any order to the USA over the 500gr total weight limit

On a 500gr box, the maximum number of full size blanks possible is 8 (eight)

No short blanks are under 2.5" length, with full pen blanks being an average of 19-20mm square x 130mm long...!

Attention everyone,

Mike8850 has decided to purchase 2 more blanks to complete the box capacity and within the 500gr limit. He had suggested me to select the 2 extra blanks but is no real need for "selection" they are all good stuff so, I carried on from the last number of his original group of 6 so, blanks 64 to 71 are his...!

Hi everyone,

I'm a little surprised that no one has purchased any of these blanks, since the first 24 hours and I'm wondering if I should close this add and put the blanks on my eBay store for sale in there, as they would be priced slightly higher than in here, due to eBay fees and lack of IAP sale discounts, etc.

All blanks were treated and cooked at the same time (big stabilising chamber and oven), there was no selection when the blanks were numbered, they come out of the box to the table randomly and while the pics all were taken at the same day and time, 2 of them had to be re-done that nigh as they did come out blurry, and those are the ones with a yellow(ish) colour through the pic so, they may look slightly different in each pic/group but they are all identical in quality, that is guaranteed...!:wink::biggrin:
