Subject spring recently broke in my drill press. Its function is to retract the spindle. The best deal I could find online was 50 cents for the spring- $5.94 for shipping. Go figure.

I just broke mine a couple weeks ago. Am using a tarp strap for the time being. Am also looking for a great deal on a spring.

Might want to check out your local Hardware store, they could have it, never know until you look

Try Little Machine Shop they might have something? I bought a $4.50 part and postage was $12.95!!!!!! Not to bad to go Downunder.:biggrin:
