I also watched the May 3rd '99 tornado from the same storm cellar at my parent's house. While that one to me was more impressive and jawdropping, it was also a few miles away. Yesterday was definitely a different experience with the thing seemingly right on top of me: definitely louder and without a doubt more up close and personal. Happy to say though that we received no damage at all, yet just on the East side of the treeline at my parent's house, it looks like a warzone.
