Took the hurdle

Hello Forum.
While searching the web on fountain pens I stumbled upon a post on this site where I thought I could add some information.
But to do so I had to join. Decided to take that hurdle instead of moving along, and got accepted too.
So here I am. Dutch, retired, no lathe but a 3d printer. I like fountain pens and took 'm apart out of curiosity.
I love the wealth of knowledge on this forum, so who know I might accept the challenge and take the dive.

Hi Perry - Welcome!

Long time pen turner, recent 3D printer mavin here. I have moved from kit based pens to fully hand made pens, mostly fountain pens, and purchased the 3D printer to assist with tasks and tools for penmaking specifically. It has not fully delivered in that space yet, but it runs pretty regularly for shop organization and tooling projects - and I am real happy with making the leap. What runs on yours?
