Too Blue! help!

I am making a series of pens using buckeye Burl. They came to me dyed and stabilized blue but when I turned them down I fealt they needed to be little Bluer.

Who wants to guess what's coming up?

So, I used a little food coloring and now they're too Blue! Argh! I used DNA to bring the blue down a little but the buckeyes are still Blue and it's too Blue.

Any ideas????

25% solution of bleach - test 2 mins then rinse, repeat if necessary.

I have used it numerous times on raw wood that has been accidentally stained. I cant be certain its going to work on your Amboyna but it works for our local woods.
