My little girl found the coolest card for me... Woodworking tools on the front and a band-aid inside.

:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Got a call from my son just before he and his family left for Costa Rica. I wished him a happy fathers day as well and told him he did a better job than I did because he has two children and I only had him. He reminded me that I said the same thing last year. sigh.gif

I got 3 cards!

1. The above mentioned card from my 8 year old daughter.
2. A card describing the different kinds of farts from my 19 year old son.
3. A mushy hero card from my wife who would shoot me if I mentioned her age.

Yeah, but the difference is, none of 'em could give a crap less about me the rest of the year. You have the better deal I think...

I got a yellow Acylester blank and a $20 card to Rockler. Apparently I've taught my daughter well. She took mom in to the store, pulling her by the hand, yelling, " Come on Mom, the blanks are over here!" She had the store clerks in stitches!!!
Thank you for the warm Father's Day wishes! And I pass that on to all the other Fathers out there as well!!!

Thank you! Hope all had as great a day as I did.

Had plans to go to Dads on Sunday. He called Sat night completely flustered. Building another house and there was no AC as yet. He had went to Lowes and picked up the biggest one they had. Brought it home and NOTHING. had put a double 20 in for the power. Went back for another in the afternoon. Come 10 pm and no AC, he was completely exhausted, North TX and 99 degrees and he's 72. OK, I'm coming early in the AM. Look at this and that. AC has 110 on each leg but will not turn on!? Take the AC apart and yep, 110 inside also.

As he starts taking the AC hardware of the cage, prepping to take this one back too. I think, Wait I don't see 220 across the blades. Check the breaker for the dryer and yep, I'm right, it's supposed to have the 220. But NO 220 for AC. He had put a double pole single leg breaker without checking for 2 legs. 2 single breakers and bingo, AC. I think he felt like a kid again and had such a big grin. Couldn't have bought him a better present.
