I am looking for someone who has the tools and the inclination to make modifications to pens and make them look like they were done "on purpose". I am happy to pay for this service, but please do not respond unless you are good at this sort of thing and you know whether or not you are. It will probably require some work that is not standard wood turning lathe stuff.

Yep I agree, I can make just about anything metal or wood in my shop (have more metal working tools then wood), but I'd need info.
If i can't make it at home, then I know I can make it at the production shop.

Thank you to those who offered help. I explained the task to several folks and none came back and said they wanted to do it.
I guess the task was harder than I thought it would be. It looks like I'll have to get the Chinese designers involved and pay them to take care of this.
