I am 21, and I grew up on stuff like that, along with Tom and Jerry, Tweetey, Bugs bunny, and the rest of the Warner brothers crew. Cartoons now are not worth watching due to filthy adult humor or things that may lower your IQ, (example, spongebob). It was shows like bugs bunny and roadrunner that were very funny, clean and really were an art form.

Now now I say stand still so I's can Blast you!

I have ALWAYS loved Roadrunner cartoons and it's great to see that they are just as funny as ever . Thanks for posting the link . MeepMeep

When I was stationed on Guam at the ComSta...we had outdoor movies.. they would show them at dark, then again at midnight for the swing shift folks... we usually attended the movies in our bathing suits and raincoats because of the rain most nights.... but before we went to the movies, we would always try to find out what the cartoon was... really didn't matter about the movie, we went for the cartoons.... a Road Runner cartoon was almost a sure sign of a full house.

Gotta love the persistence of Coyote. Somewhere has to be a DVD of these for the grandkids.

We own three sets of Warner Brothers Cartoon dvd's. I think they are still available. The three sets we have each have 4 dvd's. These cartoons were my favorites when I was growing upso when I found out there were available I had to get them to share with my daughter. That was a few years back. She is now 17 but she still loves Bugs and friends.

Many hears ago a club I was in had a movie day at the local mall. We set up a tent and showed Humphrey Bogart movies all day. During the breaks we showed Road Runner and Bugs Bunny cartoons. We realized later the more people were watching the cartoons than the movies. So the following year, we showed all cartoons. Made a bundle!!!

Well being somewhat of an old fart myself, I sure liked the high def widescreen cartoon better than the old days of snowy black & white. Except for Roy Rodgers. That was probably better in B & W. Ohhh, and Sea Hunt too. Yes I know they aren't cartoons. I said I was old, not senile.

And no, my wife doesn't get to vote on that.
