Alright, first up is a Summit kit, with "mint" Acrylic. The blank and tube were painted with as close of a match as possible to the translucent mint acrylic. Took a minute to figure out the best way to make the tenon, I feel like the instructions could have had a little more detail.
Next up, is a gift for a good friend, Tec Pen Bolt Action kit, with Buffalo Horn. Doesn't smell quite as bad as deer antler, but it still stinks. Lol.
And the last acrylic/alternate material of the weekend, is a very colorful acrylic, that I received in yesterday's Chicago Chapter meetings blank exchange. Used a Sierra kit.
Now the next (and last) three, are all using Big Ben / Cigar kits that I won at yesterday's Chicago Chapter meeting as a door prize! Two Satin finish and one 24k finish kit. First two blanks are from Jonathan Blair at Woodsong Creations, Spalted Birch and Dyed & Stabilized Maple. Lastly, a Cedar blank I got at yesterday's meetings blank exchange.
