Three weeks ago, I got home and there was a box of wood on my porch. It was from a "Flat" woodworker. There were two pieces that had Flames in the grain. One is Cherry and the other is Mulberry.

I delivered it to him at our club meeting this week. I hope he enjoys using it as much as I did watching it show off it's beauty!

Bruce, very nice pen. Sometimes grain is better than burl because of its "simpler" beauty. Thanks for the new term, I will definitely start using "flat" woodworker.

That is a spectacular pen Bruce. One of the benefits of this hobby is that the smallest piece of scrap wood can become something of beauty, nice job.
