Thanks, Curt! - I posted this flameworked glass hummingbirds YouTube video years ago - long before I got into pen making - I think I blew an opportunity then - but could revisit the torch and make simplified little birds with twisted "inknectar"-rich beaks...hmmm...they could write for days with a belly reservoir...hmmm...


This chubby hummer would write for a while if it had a twisted beak and a full belly:

Nothing like getting to the point! Those are nice looking. My wife and I found an issue of Birds and Blooms (recommend it for the two subjects!) last year. It was the hummingbird issue and we subscribed! Since then, we have set out three h'bird feeders and a feeder with goodies for other birds. Put a piece of PCV over the stand to keep the squirrels from climbing and knocking out the seeds and corn. Saw one squirrel on the top of the post but he couldn't figure out to get over to the feeder.
