May as well see if that motor shop has a 10' vacuum pressure tank available while you are picking the lathe up. I worked in a shop for 10 years that had both!

Yes but at least his had a decent size chuck adaptor already attached in picture 1 . I agree the 2Mt tooling might need a few adaptors making tho …
