Some of you may remember this one from a month or so ago. I had made my first and second amboyna pen, one for my father, and this one for myself. It was my daily carry pen for a couple of short weeks, then went missing. Looked and looked, posted flyers around town, and attempted to file a missing persons report, all to no avail. Yesterday, wife says 'I have a present for you" and presented me with what you see here. She found it in our gravel driveway! It obviously was in my lap or somewhere close when I came home, and never heard it hit the ground. It has been sitting for at least a week and a half. It has been rained on over and over, and I am sure I ran over it at least once! Held up nicely minus a few deep ca chips, and deep scratches. Doesnt seem cracked, and yes that is embedded plant matter, as i took pictures before any clean up. Plan to attempt to refinish it after im sure it is dry again! Thought you may enjoy!

You could always use for a demo, see how tuff these pens are!:biggrin:

on the other hand, probably take it apart and redo it. It took a beatin though.

Actually, I agree with Harry. If you sell, use it as a part of your sales presentation: "And this one (pulls pen from shirt pocket) is my daily user. I knew they were rugged, but it got rained on and run over several times before my wife found it (writes his name on paper). Here, try it. Still looks pretty good, doesn't it?"
