After lots of years and lots of enjoyment they are off to a new home. Sold it a very nice young man who restores old motorcycles. Should give him many years of enjoyment. Time to wind down a little. I'm 76 with lots of health issues so my wife and are getting rid of 51 years of accumulating. The little shop is quite empty so soon new benches and work stations will appear. I'm excited about a new era in my life.

It's hard to part with old friends, but good to know they are going to a new home where they will be welcomed with open and loving arms !! Now you have all this space to fill with new helpers and new projects. I hope for the best for you and your wife on your new quest !! Jim S

The machinery you sold looks to have been well cared-for by you !!!

All the best wishes for enjoying a new phase in your lives !!!

At 62 and 51, the wife and I are taliing the same thing. New visions, desires, dreams keep us going. But the 'downsizing' has got to start sometime. In our case, the sooner, the better.

Lucky for us, we only have about 30 years of syuff to go through. LOL

But of course, there are somethings we just can't talk eachother into parting with.

Wishing you much happiness in the future and looking forward to seeing just what your 'new shop' will look like.

Sounds like it went to some one who will appreciate it. That's what I will hope for when it ever comes time for my machines to go as well! (I have a 16" SB and a Bridgeport) Hopefully not for some time, though :)

A new beginning. I'm pumped. My contractor friend of mine told me to take a seat and stay out of the way. Saturday and Sunday afternoon created new benches.

The first photo is my assembly and photo bench, the second is my old bench with room to work and my turning bench, the third is my small band saw bench. All my grinders and large equipment like band saw, table saw etc. are between the back wall of my shop and the garage door.
