I was just looking through the January issue of Pen World</u> magazine and saw a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired fountain pen by our old buddy, Mark Gisi. This was a new pen to me so I thought I would visit his web site and see what else had been added since I ast visited.

WOW!! What a wonderful surprise......there were many new designs to enhance his already impressive collection. Below is a link to the gallery of past works and don't forget to visit the menu to see the current offerings as well. Enjoy!!

I think my shorts followed my socks out the door. [:D]

That is some very impressive work and sure makes me realize what a newbie I am.

Very humbling to see something like that.

That's why Mr. Gisi gets the big bucks----IMHO there is no one that can even come close to these pens for workmanship and quaility.
Thanks for posting this link.

I hate to be negative but I'ma feared I'll never be close to that good. That is some incredible workmanship, he truly is an artist in this field.

Becca: Very few, if any, of us will ever approach the level of craftsmanship and artistry represented by these pens; but most all of us should be able to take some small element from this work that will raise our own work to a higher level!![^]

Are they members of IAP? How long does it take to make a pen of that magnitude? And they said it's a hobby - WOW [:0]. Sure wish they would make a little tutorial for the library. Well, I'm dazzled.

While I don't think that I would ever want to own one, I have to admit they are extremely well done and quite impressive.

Tom Brian and Mark are father and son; but I don't remember who is who? One or the other or both have made a post or two here; but not in a long, long time. I expect they spend their time making pens instead of talking about them. Obviously they don't need any help, contrary to most of us.

I doubt that they would be interested in writing a detailed tutorial; but one or the other might be willing to write a short message about the generalities of their methods. Why don't email them and see if they are willing??
