The Milwaukee Area Wood Turners (MAWT) have been asked to have a booth at this
show and they have asked our IAP chapter to man the pen turning for the
Wounded Warrior Project.
How it works is people purchase a pen kit at the information
booth and we assist with turning the pen. They keep the pen they made and the
proceeds go to the project.
We need volunteers to help out with skills assessment, assistance as needed or
possibly turning the entire pen and generally keep things moving along.
No one person needs to cover the entire show so we can schedule shifts. I can
work out the schedule.
Let me know if you are interested and we can make this a great success for a great
project.
