Taken while getting the shop ready for the weekend. its been a busy weekend, with a handful of failures and a load of successes so all in all some great shop time.

Time for a bigger workshop, i need twice the space just to accomodate the plating tanks. As it stands ive converted the second bathroom into a chemistry lab setup with an anodising line, chrome and gold plating line, and electroforming line, etching tanks for brass and for aluminium. the room conveniently came with a shower cubicle for rinising parts, sink, and extractor fan too for fume extraction. I suspect a house move in 2013.... to a house with a double garage... but of course that would be completely coincidental that the final house we pick has a double garage.. honest love.

It seems to me you have a lot of unused space in that picture. My shop has walking room only and some places you have to turn sideways or lose weight to get through.:biggrin:

Where is Igor, I suspect you have a pen connected to electrodes somewhere there in the background just waiting for the next electrical storm.

The chemistry lab is setup in the second bathroom

Don't hold back if you move. You need at least a 4-car garage.

my god. I remember laughing thinking it would take me a very long time to fill the space the i had.... Guess i was wrong there lol

lol  seeing as my wife walks through here to reach the conservatory I dont think she would be too impressed having to squeeze past things!

And you'll need room for the new lathe...and mill that will eventually be necessary because the lathe got bigger.

Good thought Dale but with a shower curtain he has a built in spray booth for small parts in his bathroom. As I think about it the bathroom is the perfect work shop. You can take care of all your daily projects and business.:biggrin:

Don't forget a spray booth! I think it's outstanding that you've branched into the bathroom. Excellent idea.

Ive started designing a little one with an extraction filter on it so i can use my airbrush without coating verything else in a fine dust lol.
