I was bouncing around you tube looking to see if someone showed how to detail and or wax textured gel coat flooring on a boat. I typed waxing and stupidly hit the enter key. Now my suggested videos on the right of the screen are all about waxing to remove hair. My boat does not need a Brazilian wax.

I am going home.

LOL, reminds me of my first Internet search (in 1997 or so), i searched 'hot rods', the results weren't as I expected them to be. Thankfully search engines have gotten much, much better and the intended results are more inline with what you want.

My friend told me he once searched 'tranny swap' and was scared by the results, not many results about cars.

There are some otherwise harmless terms that, when entered in Google Image Search with Safe Search off, yield some rather surprising (and NSFW) results.

(E.g., if you're looking for a transmission, don't search for "tranny.")

Can't help you much with your "Brasillian", but SoftScrub with very hot water and a soft bristle brush works wonders on a textured fiberglass boat deck. One good coat of wax on a boat deck, textured or not will vividly demonstrate that wax is NOT an ideal protectant for boat decks, EVEN IF YOU DON'T BREAK ANY BONES!

If your boat deck looks bad , try 303 UV protectant. It works GREAT and doesn't leave a "slick" oily feel on decks.

Thanks there penman. I kind of thought the wax was a bad idea. For cleaning we tend to use oil eater. I was wondering if there was something else. I will look into the 303 stuff. While the boat sits in a storage bay most of the time there are times it sits out.

Seamus, I honestly did not click on any of them, but there were some pretty good titles.
